HOME PAGE
The first page you see when you open Roblox. Everything starts here!
When I open Roblox, the home page shows my favourite games.
LOBBY
A waiting area inside a game where you wait before the round starts.
I am in the lobby — the game starts in 10 seconds!
MENU
A list of buttons that lets you do things, like change settings or leave the game.
Press Escape to open the menu and change the music volume.
BUTTON
Something you press or click to make something happen in the game.
Click the green Play button to start the game!
NOTIFICATION
A little message that tells you something new happened — like a friend joined!
I got a notification — LeoStars08 sent me a friend request!
FRIENDS LIST
A list of all the people you play Roblox with.
I checked my friends list and saw that Mia is online right now!
SEARCH BAR
A box where you type words to find games or players on Roblox.
I typed "obby" in the search bar and found 100 great games!
GAMES TAB
The place on the home page where you can find and pick new games to play.
Click the Games tab to see what is popular today.

HOME PAGE
The first page you see when you open an app or website — like the front page of YouTube.
The YouTube home page shows videos it thinks you will like.
WAITING ROOM
A room where you sit and wait before something starts — like at the doctor or dentist.
I sat in the waiting room for ten minutes before my name was called.
MENU
A list of things to choose from — like a restaurant menu or the settings menu on your phone.
The restaurant menu had pizza, pasta, and salad. I chose pizza!
BUTTON
Something you press to make something happen — like a lift button or a doorbell.
I pressed the lift button and waited for the doors to open.
NOTIFICATION
A little pop-up or sound on your phone that tells you something new happened.
I got a notification from my school app — homework is due tomorrow!
CONTACT LIST
A list of people saved on your phone — like mum, dad, and your friends.
I found my friend's number in my contact list and called her.
SEARCH BAR
A box on a phone or computer where you type words to find something.
I typed "funny cats" in the search bar and found loads of videos!
CATEGORY
A group of things that belong together — like "sport", "music", or "cooking" on a website.
I clicked the Sport category on the news website to read football stories.
